Youth Ministries

NEUMC Youth Ministries is available for students in grades 6-12. Our focus is to develop our youth into disciples of Jesus through three simple principles:



Love God

Grow Together

Impact the World

Our Youth Group meets Sundays, 6:30PM-7:30PM, throughout the year, aside from holidays.

Sunday School for youth starts at 9:00AM on Sundays, in the NEUMC Education Building.

Our youth regularly have events to spend time together and grow in their faith; details for these are listed below. Exact dates and times will be listed in our calendar here.

Our current youth director is Weston Cheatham. Weston is a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church and has been working with youth for more than two decades. He has a passion for sharing the gospel with teenagers.

Youth Programs

Safe Sanctuary Policy

Each United Methodist Church in South Carolina is required to have a Safe Sanctuaries Policy which is reviewed annually by the Church Council. The purpose of the policy is to ensure congregations are safe places where children, youth, and vulnerable adults may experience the abiding love of God and fellowship within the community of faith.
